So…reading these comments…I wonder if you should consider referring to your handy-dandy dictionary to make sure you understand the word \”perjury.\”
noun – Law – the offence of deliberately telling an untruth in court when under oath.
Unless you were in court with someone from State Farm, and said person was under oath, and you were dealing directly with the matter of your claim, there was no perjury.
In fact, the claim of \”perjury\” could be construed as libelous in this case.
Perjury is just another one of those law-word things and people don\’t want to be bothered with finding out what it means. Where\’s that Humpty Dumpty quote that words mean what I want them to mean at the time I use them?
It\’s no wonder why people get in trouble trying to read a contract. What are they doing with the money spent on public schools?
In reply to the last comment from someone who only posted their name as \”Perjury?\” I do have documentation to prove my statements. It can\’t be liable if you are telling the truth and have the documentation to prove your statements. State Farm signed IRS documents, under penalty of perjury, and did not tell the truth. That is perjury.
It\’s not the Republican Party it\’s the Illuminati
no it\’s the world bankers
no it\’s the UN
no it\’s the space aliens
Oh good grief already.
Everybody knows it\’s the Mexicans. They need to weaken the country so they can invade and take over.

You might as well do this in Florida. If you are with one of those fly by night carriers that come and go and always are undercapitalized you have just as great of risk as if you had no insurance at all.
I think you should focus on your own state. Florida is a mess and people like you have directly contributed to it. The last thing anyone needs is to follow the example that Florida has set.
Florida is the worst insurance situation that North America has faced in the the last 100 years. There are billions of dollars of shortfall. Large segments of the property market are uninsuranble and the commissioner is more elected in being elected Governor than worrying about adressing the problem. He is the worst sort of Demagogue and a huge factor in the current chaos.
Before this all plays out expect large assessments on all carriers and most likely for all lines. Expect some sort of money grab from carriers profits from other states and expect more carpet baggers to spring up and fleece more unsuspecting chumps.
I would think the profits are good enough in that state to leave the other coastal states alone but then I\’m not sure you have any carrier licenses left. I saw where another of your companies closed up due to lack of capital.
Ones who track unfair / fraudulent insurer and adjuster conduct are not the problem behind (certain) insurers, and adjusters, fraudulent market conduct.
I appreciate all the comment about Texas but I was hoping some agent in Florida could give an insight into how the claims are being handled. The clients dock was blown away and the company denied it because the water moved the dock. I have heard of a class action, does anyone have any info.
Covering a dock. Standard property policies (homeowners or business) have a standard exclusion for \”….waves, tidal waves, water overflow of a body of water, or spray from any of these, whether or not driven by wind.\” Wording varies but the intent is the same.
To cover a dock, a \”difference in conditions\” policy is needed. This is a policy designed to cover where a regular policy won\’t cover.
A flood policy doesn\’t do it because the Fed Flood policy covers where there is normally not water.
It all takes an agent who is paying attention.

State Farm not worried anymore because corporate America owns the Republican party which is in control of MS Governor and the MS Supreme Court.

The insurers & adjusters themselves are.
