West Virginia’s Workers’ Compensation Commission recently filed
injunctions against two state employers whose accounts with the Commission are reportedly in default.
Injunctions were filed in Kanawha County Circuit Court against the following:
• Phillip K. Taylor, dba Mountain State Metal Constructors, a Kanawha County roofing business owes back premiums, interest and penalties totaling $26,268.45; and
• Iron Horse Transport Inc., a Wyoming County coal hauling business, owes back premiums, interest and penalties totaling $13,875.28.
The injunctions call for the firms to cease business.
