West Virginia’s Workers’ Compensation Commission recently filed an injunction against a state employer whose account with the Commission is in default.
The injunction was filed in Kanawha County Circuit Court against:
Pappy’s Heating & Cooling Inc., a Kanawha County plumbing and pipefitting business, that reportedly owes back premiums, interest and penalties totaling $17,960.88.
Workers’ Compensation Commission Executive Director Gregory Burton said the Commission will continue initiating litigation involving delinquent businesses throughout the state to help assure everyone pays their fair share.
