The National Tornado Foundation is donating $10,000 to the American Red Cross for disaster preparedness and response in Oklahoma.
The donation was presented during an emergency preparedness rally Saturday in Moore. During the rally the Red Cross provided 160 emergency preparedness kits to families affected by the May 2013 tornado and distributed weather radios to those who were not directly impacted by the tornado.
The donation will help the Red Cross continue offering preparedness programs across the state.
