Oklahoma’s insurance commissioner says his department will hold a consumer assistance event next month for survivors of last year’s tornado outbreak.
Commissioner John D. Doak says the June 3 forum at Westmoore High School will aid storm survivors who have unresolved insurance issues.
Tornado survivors have filed nearly 100,000 insurance claims since last year’s tornado outbreak, with insurance payments topping $1.1 billion.
Survivors who are not able to attend the forum can call 1-800-522-0071 for help with insurance claims.
