A tractor trailer filled with cattle overturned on a Dallas freeway, blocking the road and setting cows loose.
Authorities say the accident happened around 1:30 a.m. on May 24 when the driver lost control of the 18-wheeled cattle trailer in the northbound lane of I-35, south of downtown Dallas.
Dallas County Sheriff deputies were seen on local TV stations trying to corral about 90 cows, including some that had wandered onto main lanes, and transfer them into alternate trailers.
A small portion of the freeway remains shut down as crews work to clean up the area and try to get the tractor trailer upright during the morning rush-hour traffic.
It was not immediately clear whether there were any injuries or if the driver will face any charges.
