Officials say nobody has been hurt in an explosion and fire at an East Texas petroleum company that destroyed much of the business.
Hazardous materials crews were at the scene Monday at Pearce Petroleum Products in Mineola, about 75 miles east of Dallas.
Investigators are trying to determine what sparked Sunday night’s fire and led to some petroleum products spilling. Fire crews extinguished the blaze after about an hour.
Fire department spokesman Steve Finley says the business owners were on the property when the fire broke out and they called 911.
The company did not immediately respond to a message Monday from The Associated Press.
