SiriusPoint named David Turner global head of claims.
The appointment is effective Oct. 7. Turner is based in London, and he will lead the global claims function and oversee teams across London and New York, reporting to CEO Scott Egan.

Turner previously held the role of group head of claims at Fidelis. Other past roles include global claims director at MS Amlin and a stint at Willis.
SiriusPoint, a global specialty insurer and reinsurer, is based in Bermuda and has offices in New York, London and Stockholm.
