At its 99th annual convention, September 30 – October 3, 2013, the International Association of Industrial Accident Boards and Commissions (IAIABC), a not-for-profit association representing most of the government agencies charged with the administration of workers’ compensation systems in the United States, Canada, and other nations and territories looks forward to providing a “Focus on Outcomes.” With a focus on outcomes through the reform or change process, workers’ compensation stakeholders will develop more effective strategies, tools, and evaluation metrics.
Attendees of the IAIABC 99th Annual Convention will focus on the following outcomes:
- Improved system efficiency
- Faster return to gainful employment
- Improved quality of medical care
- Decrease in disputes
- Better prevention and safety measures
The IAIABC invites all workers’ compensation regulators, administrators, insurers, claims payers, medical providers, service providers, employers, labor representatives, self-insured organizations or anyone else with a stake in the industry to attend the annual convention.
The program is now available and features four days of plenaries, breakout sessions, committee meetings, and social events for attendees. Early registration is open; IAIABC members receive discounted registration rates, and additional discounts are available when sending 3 or more attendees.
