Royal & SunAlliance standard and preferred personal lines agents who use Applied Systems agency management software can now access real-time claim and billing information through IVANS Transformation Station(TM).
Built by IVANS, a provider of e-commerce and networking solutions for the insurance industry, Transformation Station is a data exchange that allows for real-time transactions between agencies and insurers they represent.
Transformation Station directly links the Applied Systems software used by Royal & SunAlliance agents to claim or billing information supplied by the company. The connection offers agents quick, easy access to previously unavailable account details, enabling agents to answer customer questions immediately.
Seamlessly integrated into the TAM and Vision versions of Applied Systems software, Transformation Station uses the Internet and ACORD XML routing services to manage the information exchange.
A total of 83 agents already use the new Royal & SunAlliance inquiry capabilities, and a pilot rollout of Transformation Station has begun for DORIS agents. Royal & SunAlliance is also evaluating options for AMS agents and real-time transaction capability.
Royal & SunAlliance’s Standard & Preferred Personal Insurance business is part of the company’s Personal Insurance Division, which provides a variety of customized insurance coverages including homeowners, standard and preferred auto, nonstandard auto, boat, umbrella, motorhome and flood.
