Fire Destroys Office at Missouri Area Resort

A fire destroyed the business office of a Branson, Mo., resort but no other structures were damaged.

No injuries were reported after the fire Sunday night at the White Wing Resort, which is just south of Silver Dollar City.

Firefighters say a preliminary investigation indicates the fire started on a back deck of the office. The building is a total loss.

KY3-TV reports the blaze was difficult for firefighters to extinguish because the building had been renovated throughout its history, leaving hidden roofs and hidden ceilings.
