Minneapolis-based vehicle-repair company ABRA Auto Body & Glass announced it will soon open its 27th repair center in Minneapolis area. The facility, located at 13819 Johnson St. NE in Ham Lake, is under construction with a projected opening date of summer 2004.
“ABRA is building this repair center to meet the growing needs of ABRA’s insurance partners and vehicle owners as the metro continues to expand,” Tim Adelmann, ABRA’s chief operating officer, said in a statement.
“ABRA’s long-term plan has always been to make it convenient for the consumers in Minneapolis-St. Paul to get to a state-of-the-art ABRA repair center no matter where they happen to live or work. The addition of a repair center in Ham Lake will help us better serve the northern metro area.”
This fully air conditioned prototype center will consist of 18,000
square feet and will utilize state-of-the art collision repair equipment, including a Blackhawk KJ Full Frame Rack, a Shark Ultrasonic Frame Measuring System, and a USI Master Downdraft Paint Booth.
When fully staffed, the Ham Lake repair center will employ a general manager, three customer service managers/estimators, and 15 body, paint and quality support technicians.
