Crawford & Company named Glenn T. Gibson chief executive officer of a new consulting practice the company is building in Canada.
In this new role, Gibson will be responsible for developing the company’s Canadian consulting practice in the areas of technical loss adjusting, arbitrations, strategic planning and enterprise risk management.
Gibson began his insurance career at Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company and later helped build Adjusters Canada into the largest claims administration firm in Canada. He has held a number of executive positions with Crawford since the company purchased Adjusters Canada in 1998.
Gibson holds a number of industry designations, including the Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP), Chartered Loss Adjuster (CLA), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and he is also certified in Canada and the United States as a Certified Fire and Explosives Investigator (CFEI, CFII-c).
