Relatives of a southern Indiana businessman say he died after a scooter crash while vacationing on a Mexican resort island.
They say 57-year-old Mike Job of Spencer died from his injuries Sunday night after his scooter crashed on Isla Mujeres, an island northeast of Cancun.
Sky Job tells The Herald-Times that her brother left a holiday party and drove a scooter down a road before crashing along a curve. She says her brother was wearing a helmet and hadn’t been drinking at the gathering.
Job owned and operated Quality Surfaces Inc., a Spencer company that makes and installs custom countertops and employs 25 people.
