MS/B Appoints Westera to Lead Canadian Operations

Marshall and Swift / Boeckh (MS/B) has appointed Klaas Westera as Business Manager of MS/B’s Canadian operations. In his role at MS/B, Westera will help guide Canadian initiatives and will be responsible for sales and service of property underwriting and claims data, technology, and services to insurers, adjusting firms, and other national accounts.

Westera, recognized as an expert in technology, information services and industry standards, has spent over 25 years serving Canadian insurance brokers and carriers. He was president of the Centre for Study of Insurance Operations (CSIO) from 1999 to 2003 and
has also held leadership positions with CGI and Delphi/Redshaw. Westera holds a M.Sc. from Brock University, St. Catharines, Ontario.
