Fair Isaac Corporation, a provider of analytics and decision technology, announced that Malaysia National Insurance Berhad (MNI) has chosen Fair Isaac Blaze Advisor rules management software to centrally manage business rules in their claims and policy management system. Blaze Advisor is being used by MNI to automate business processes and ensure consistency in applying underwriting and claims triage rules across various delivery channels.
“Business agility is key to helping us get ahead of the competition, and we realized that we needed to provide more efficient services to our customers by expediting the processing of claims and insurance policies,” said Martin Oh, Head of Information Technology, Malaysia National Insurance Berhad. “Blaze Advisor rules management software from Fair Isaac fitted our business strategy of automating several business processes to achieve straight-through processing and reduction in cycle times.”
Previously, policies and claims at MNI were processed manually or with one of several separate processing systems, resulting in the potential for lengthy approval delays and inconsistent interpretation of corporate guidelines.
Blaze Advisor now gives MNI the ability to maintain one centralized set of rules governing customer requests that can be used by different business units and software applications.
