The New Hampshire Department of Safety has started a mobile app that notifies users in their area of accidents, hazardous weather and other emergencies.
The NH Alerts app provides warnings via an audible alert. The user can determine the frequency with which warnings are received.
The free tool works with iPhone and Android cellphones and is available via links on ReadyNH.gov.
