Hartford, Conn., officials say it’s lucky no one was hurt when a 20th floor window of the Gold Building was blown out and smashed on the ground.
Authorities say it appears high winds blew out the window of the 26-story downtown office tower on Sunday morning. Police closed off Main Street and other roads around the building as inspectors investigated the problem.
It’s not clear if people were inside the building when the window fell.
The Gold Building, known as One Financial Plaza, was one of Hartford’s first high-rise office towers when it opened it 1973.
