The Arbella Insurance Foundation and Live Nation, a global entertainment company, announced the third season of the Road Crew designated driver program, aimed at alleviating drunk driving and rewarding those who make responsible driving decisions during the 2014 concert season.
The program provides complimentary nonalcoholic beverages for eligible concertgoers who pledge to be designated drivers. Road Crew was developed to help keep both drivers and passengers safe as they travel home after concerts. The program will be held at the Blue Hills Bank Pavilion in Boston and the Xfinity Center in Mansfield, Massachusetts.
Eligible concertgoers who attend 2014 shows at the Xfinity Center and the Blue Hills Bank Pavilion can sign up for Road Crew by visiting the Arbella tent and identifying themselves as a designated driver. Participants will be given Road Crew insulated cups, bracelets, and drink vouchers entitling them to free fountain beverages at select concession stands throughout the venues.
By bringing the Road Crew program to the Xfinity Center and the Blue Hills Bank Pavilion, Arbella and Live Nation hope to encourage safe driving throughout Massachusetts and surrounding areas during the 2014 concert season. Live Nation has implemented similar incentives at other concert venues throughout the country to promote responsible driving.
