Authorities say a 46-year-old construction worker has died after falling off the roof of a house outside Syracuse.
Police in the town of Camillus say Harvey Seymour III of Fulton was placing shingles on a two-story home Thursday afternoon when he fell about 30 feet to the ground.
One of the other two workers at the job site found Seymour on the ground and called 911. Seymour was taken to a Syracuse hospital, where he was declared dead.
Police say Seymour worked for a contractor in Oswego County.
The investigation is continuing.
