Nine Horses Die in Barn Fire in Massachusetts

Nine horses have perished in a barn fire in Sharon, Massachusetts.

The blaze started late Tuesday night and destroyed the structure at Yankee Kennels.

Capt. Bert Cummings says firefighters arrived to find heavy smoke coming from the barn and when they tried to enter the fire quickly took off. He says none of the horses could be saved.

There were no injuries to any people in the 3-alarm fire.

Cummings says the cause of the blaze is not yet known.
