Two pyrotechnics company employees were injured in a fireworks accident at a the northeastern Pennsylvania home of a minor league affiliate of the New York Yankees.
A state police fire marshal is investigating the cause of the incident at PNC Field in Moosic, just outside Scranton.
Authorities say two people were injured Friday night in the display following the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees game.
Moosic Fire Chief Chuck Molinaro says the two people hurt were employees of the fireworks company. Investigators have not released their names, but the family of one victim says he’s in stable condition.
The team says their hearts and prayers are with the families of the injured.
