Delaware highway safety officials say more than 1,200 people have been ticketed during a monthlong speed enforcement blitz.
Delaware Office of Highway Safety spokeswoman Andrea Summers says State Police ticketed 237 speeders last week as part of the “Stop Aggressive Driving” campaign.
In addition to last week’s speeding tickets, Summers says troopers also made one DUI arrest and seven drug arrests.
The four week campaign ended Thursday, but Summers says officers will still be out on regular duty looking for speeders.
