Authorities said a 33-year-old Jeremy Jones died in a fire at the eastern New York home he shared with his parents.
Police in Granville, N.Y. said the fire was reported around 1:15 a.m. Authorities said the body of was found inside the home.
His parents escaped unharmed and taken to Glens Falls Hospital, where they were treated for smoke inhalation.
Granville fire officials say the cause of the blaze is under investigation. The origin isn’t believed to be suspicious.
Granville is near the Vermont border 52 miles northeast of Albany.
