I disagree Cluade, the boat may cost you in repairs and maintaince, but the woman will cost you for the same thing, plus their own spending.

I\’m sure that he would make her get rid of the children, too, just like the other diamonds, so he would be the only CHILD in the family!

I don\’t care what the courts say-The ring is a gift! I\’ve never heard of a man having to give back anything the woman gives him as an engagement present!

Also, with a boat, when you are done using it, you just park it on the side of the house and throw a tarp over it. It never complains if you don\’t take it out once a month.

But here in the Commonwealth of Corrupt Lawmakers/breakers, one of our fine legislators responds with another new law, just because a constituent\’s engagement went bad. Right, we need another law whenever someone has a a problem with their love life!

I think I will give my bass boat a new coat of wax this weekend. That makes her smooth and good looking.!

Husband #3 was my therapist. He was helping me to stop being so accomodating to others… It seems that I don\’t like to hurt a person\’s feelings so when they ask me to marry them I do…at least for a little while.

I\’m getting better…I\’ve taken a hiatus from marriage…so far so good. I keep thinking about how long the lines are at the DMV and deciding that a man\’s not worth it…LOL

And regarding jewelry…I just buy myself the diamonds I want… Little gifts I give myself for not getting married again.

Besides…I\’m a lot older than Lisa Marie Presley and she just got married for the 4th time…

My husband could very well afford a ring like that, but I just wanted a simple band with a few small diamonds. I would be afraid to walk in public with a large diamond like that for fear of getting mugged or having my finger cut off by some deranged idiot.

Why do people consider an expensive piece of jewelry an investment? When would you ever get more than what you paid for it? Have you ever tried selling a ring? If you try to trade in the ring at a jewelry store for a bigger item, they only give you a fraction of what you originally paid for it.

I think this lady was once married to my father!! He should be thankful she only cost him $35,000. It cost my dad his retirement and his life savings….
