The article indicates she designed the ring and I am confident the gentleman would have no problem replacing the stone. That would have been proper consideration.
It appears the gentleman did the right thing calling off the engagement. Apparently he saw the \”real woman\” once he\’d made that investment and she thought she had him snagged…
I\’m a woman but I will tell you that some women are not in a relationship for love…and this lady appears to be one of them…
Ok, let\’s get the government involved and post signs at all the jewelry stores and yada-yada-yada. How extreme! An engagement ring is given on the basis that there will be a marriage. It doesn\’t matter who breaks it off. If the engagement is broken then the ring goes back to the gentlemen who bought it. And why may I ask would this 45 year old women let someone bully her into giving away all her diamond rings. This whole case is just ridiculous. It is a blessing that these two never made it to the alter.
And I can top that…I gave back all the jewelry to each of my husbands except the last one who I had children with…I gave that jewelry to the children as keepsakes because it was a gift before/during our marriage and both the children and the jewelry were a product of that relationship. We also agreed that he would give his jewelry which I had given to him to the children.

Last spring, he gave her a 2 1/2-carat princess cut diamond set in hand-crafted platinum.
Less than two months later, he asked for it back.
Grace, who had designed the ring, refused, sold the diamond, and replaced it in the setting with a cubic zirconia.
Good thing this relationship did not end up at the altar.
I think a nice bass boat would be a much better investment myself.

What if they had kids?
The whold story has a funny ring to it!
Is no excuse. Pay the man Grace.

I can\’t think of a woman worth a $35,000 ring. Who comes up with this stuff?
Compman, a boat would wind up being more expensive in the long run than marrying the woman.
