Accordis Inc., a business office outsourcing company serving healthcare and ambulance transport providers, announced it has signed St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital and Long Island College Hospital in New York as new clients. With the addition of these Continuum hospitals, Accordis now provides Medicare Bad Debt Claiming services to the entire Continuum Health Partners system.
“Accordis’s business and technical capabilities make them highly suited to handle this initiative for our system,” said Wael Fahkry, vice president for Reimbursement and Decision Support for Continuum Health Partners. “Given their proven ability to gain control of a complex and critical reporting process, and their record of strong performance in New York and nationally, we have opted to extend our contract with Accordis.”
According to Christina Dragonetti, vice president of Reimbursement Services at Accordis, “Accordis excels at evaluating intricate data to compile accurate documentation for large volumes of accounts. Even low-balance accounts can add up to millions of dollars for large systems such as Continuum. With a specialized team of Medicare experts and proprietary technology, Accordis boasts a 97 percent audit-approval record on claims submitted to Medicare for reimbursement.”
