South Jersey insurance agents have received many calls in the aftermath of Hurrican Isabel, but few real claims, according to the Cherry Hill (N.J.) Courier-Post.
Some incidents reported included trees down in swimming pools and atop porches, siding blown off buildings, basements flooded and windows broken when branches crashed through.
Aside from the wind and rain, power outages presented problems, such as some grocery stores which lost power long enough to spoil freezers filled with food products.
