New Jersey Attorney General Peter Harvey announced that a Passaic County man was sentenced by Union County Superior Court Judge Rudy Coleman on a charge of receiving stolen property for possessing a stolen automobile.
According to Vaughn McKoy, Director, Division of Criminal Justice and Insurance Fraud Prosecutor Greta Gooden Brown, Andrzej Domanski, 26, of Clifton, was sentenced to two years probation and court costs pursuant to pleading guilty to a criminal Accusation which charged him with receiving stolen property.
At the June 12 guilty plea proceeding before Union County Superior Court Judge James Heimlich, Domanski reportedly admitted that on Feb. 20, to taking possession of a 2001 BMW X5 automobile from another person knowing that vehicle had been reported stolen in East Orange on February 18. The investigation is ongoing.
