American Claims Management – New Workers’ Compensation Claim Services

San Diego, CA, 06/12/2008 – American Claims Management (ACM) is pleased to announce it has added a Workers’ Compensation Department to its claim administration services. As a wholly owned subsidiary of Arrowhead General Insurance Agency, Inc., ACM added a workers’ compensation department to their claim services to offer additional solutions for existing and prospective customers of Arrowhead. Future growth plans include seeking third party administrative services outside of Arrowhead’s customer base.

Effective June 10, ACM began accepting first loss reporting for Lincoln General Insurance Company’s artisan workers’ compensation program administered through Arrowhead.

“Starting our new workers’ compensation claim service with Arrowhead and Lincoln General was an easy decision,” said Scott Marshall, ACM’s president. “Both companies have been longtime partners of ACM and have respected our great service and results. With our experience and superior services, ACM will make a difference in providing a valuable advantage to both Arrowhead and future clients.”

Marshall, a veteran multi-line claims and managed care executive, has brought over 22 years of experience to ACM. He joined the company in early March and hired Deirdre Millwood, assistant vice president, who is leading the Workers’ Compensation Department.

“We’re making sure the transition for insureds is handled efficiently while working closely with the Arrowhead workers’ compensation staff,” said Millwood. “Communications have been sent and our team is preparing for assuming responsibility for all insured’s claims previously handled by the prior claim company on June 16.”
