An initial estimate shows that 23 buildings in Greeley, Colo., have been damaged by flooding over the last week.
Of those, five homes and five businesses suffered major damage, according to city building inspectors.
The Greeley Tribune reports that part of the parking lot of the Greeley Stampede arena has also been flooded. The arena itself is also wet but there’s no standing water inside.
With so much water needing to flow back into the Poudre River, it could take several days or even a week for the flood waters to recede.
