Authorities say a car has crashed into a pizzeria in Los Angeles, killing three people and triggering a blaze.
Sgt. Donald Kelly says the crash happened at about 3:30 a.m. Sunday in Studio City. The three died instantly.
Kelly says the BMW ran off the road and hit Reno’s Pizzeria on Ventura Boulevard. It’s not immediately clear what caused the driver to crash.
The blaze took more than 20 minutes to extinguish.
Studio City is located in the San Fernando Valley. It’s about 12 miles northwest of downtown Los Angeles.
