The University of Alaska has a new chief risk officer.
President Pat Gamble on Friday announced that Nancy Spink starts June 20. She comes from the University of Idaho, where she was the risk management officer.
The university says in a release Spink will develop a university-wide risk management system and standards, using tools like loss prevention, risk financing, risk information systems and claims management.
