Coconino County officials say a large canopy that covered an amphitheater at a county park outside Flagstaff, Ariz., has collapsed under the weight of snow.
No one was hurt and the amphitheater at Fort Tuthill County Park was closed when it collapsed after Saturday’s heavy snowfall.
The Arizona Daily Sun reports the canopy was installed two days before an April 12 concert and it collapsed four days after it was completed.
Coconino County is contacting its insurance company and a company it pays $10,000 annually to install, remove and repair the canopy.
Inspections will be done before a concert scheduled at the venue on May 5.
