Authorities say a city bus crashed into the back of a tractor-trailer rig Tuesday morning in west Phoenix.
Captain Scott McDonald, a spokesman for the Phoenix Fire Department, says the driver and one passenger of the bus were transported to a hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
The tractor-trailer’s driver and another passenger on the bus were evaluated by emergency workers at the scene but declined to be brought to the hospital.
The wreck caused the bus driver to become trapped, but crews were able to eventually remove the driver from the bus.
