A 9,443-acre wildfire near Goleta, Calif. that has been burning all month has been fully contained.
Fire officials say they’ve been able to contain the last section of the Gap fire, which was burning in a remote, difficult-to-access area about two miles south of West Camino Cielo and east of Tecolote Canyon.
The wildfire broke out on July 1 about four miles west of Highway 154.
