Copart, Gindin Note Software Integration

California-based Copart Inc. and Washington-based Gindin & Associates have jointly announced the integration of Copart’s proprietary VB2 virtual auction software with Gindin’s auction management software, Advanced Auto Auction Systems (Advanced Systems).

The integration allows users of Advanced Systems to automatically and seamlessly transfer vehicle data, history and condition reports as well as digital images between Gindin’s Advanced Systems and Copart’s VB2.

Copart has entered into agreements with 40 independent wholesale vehicle auctions to provide its proprietary VB2 auction technology for use in their auction process and is currently implementing VB2 at their sites.

“The completion of the systems integration coincides with our release of our new auction management software. Advanced Systems is centered on communications with consignors, buyers and those companies that provide services to the auction industry,” said Jeff Gindin, president, “and VB2 is an important component. Now data can be imported and exported with just a click of the mouse.”
