A fire official says 2 people were injured when high winds destroyed a mobile home in Mercer County, W.Va.
Bluestone Valley Volunteer Fire Chief Tim Farley tells the Bluefield Daily Telegraph that the victims were an adult and a child. They were treated at Princeton Community Hospital and released.
Farley says the storm hit the Spanishburg area early Wednesday morning. Winds moved the mobile home 50 feet off its foundation.
Firefighters from several departments are working to remove downed trees from roads in the area.
