Police say thieves rammed a stolen U-Haul truck through the front of an Atlanta, Ga., beauty supply store and made off with a box of hair weaves, the latest in a series of such crimes.
Police say the store’s glass was shattered by the truck around 4:30 a.m. Wednesday. It is the second time in less than a week that thieves have driven a stolen vehicle into a beauty store to steal hair weaves.
Atlanta police Capt. Adam Lee III tells The Atlanta Journal-Constitution that the U-Haul in Wednesday’s crime was apparently stolen from a nearby business.
Early Thursday morning, police say burglars rammed a stolen car into another beauty store and made off with hair extensions worth about $3,000.
