Nearly $12 million in auto insurance fraud was reported in South Carolina last year, according to the state attorney general’s office.
According to the 2010 annual insurance fraud report, 324 auto-related fraud complaints were received by the state attorney general’s office making up 54 percent of total fraud cases.
