In Acts 10 the Lord told St. Peter that he could eat creatures previously proscribed as “unclean.” Plus, the entire books of Galatians and Hebrews are dedicated to the supremacy of grace over law, the temporary nature of the law and Israel, and how national Israel has blossomed into the international Church.

“The Law was a teacher to lead us to Christ,” Gal. 3:24.

Moral laws against adultery, theft, murder etc are still in effect. The laws that were strictly ceremonial or pertained only to making Israel distinct from surrounding nations, has lost their force and effect. This was not man’s decision, but God’s, as you suggest it should be.

If you read these books (and I might add, one of the gospels), you will perhaps understand these and other issues.

When you got no facts and can’t argue from reason, just make stuff up and insult your opponent, then stupid people will think you’re winning the argument.

Now the student has a perversion! Al is obviously a bigoted, bible-quoting moron. Christ taught love, tolerance, and acceptance. You should try it sometime. You don’t have to agree with it, do it, or participate in it to be accepting. Why is it any of your business who someone else wants to have sex with? Mind your own house and quit judging others. Contrary to your belief, you DO NOT speak the words of God. Good grief!

    Joey:

School administrators run the schools for a reason. Just because some of the “children” might not have cared to have carpet munchers at their prom doesn’t mean you comprise your school policies. There’s probably a reason gays and lesbians were afraid to leave their closets until a few years ago when society’s morals started to erode. Nobody put up with that _hit! Now, younger generations don’t have the stones to take a stand against anything. EVERYTHING is OK. Everbody should do what they please. The inmates are running the asylum. I don’t care who’s screwing who either, but how does something suddenly become “acceptable” and everyone else should just rollover and agree?

The thing that really frosts mine are when gays and lesbians want children (a biologically impossible feat)so they have to deviate from natural pro-creation and have somebody toss them an egg. YUK.

My business is my business and none of yours, and if I disapprove of how someone lives I can treat him however I please within the law.

FYI, we are not showing love towards someone in mortal sin by assure him that he isn’t.

God’s word is very clear. You can shoot the messenger if you want, since you got nothing but sophomoric name calling and leftist talking points to go on, but the word of God condemns what you approve.

I really had no idea there were so many narrow-minded, mean-spirited, hate-filled people still left in the world. What is wrong with you? Besides, the “children” did not ban the lesbian from the prom, the school board did. The “children” have more compassion and tolerance than most of the people on this blog. You act like the girl was going to have sex on the dance floor for heaven’s sake.

If you don’t like being around gays, blacks, hispanics, Jews, or any other minority that might offend you – go somewhere else!

There was a time when slavery was acceptable. There was a time when women couldn’t vote and that was acceptable. There was a time when British rule was acceptable. These issues were challenged as other issues are being challenged present day. If you feel having relations with animals is your right, challenge it. If it becomes accepted, it then becomes your right to engage in it or not. Generations younger than yours are far more accepting of the differences in people. But don’t encourage your hate.

You are right. Our constitution gives you the right to hate anyone you want. What you can’t do is discriminate indiscriminately. Just as your life is no-one’s business, so are the people protected by our civil rights. But people like you feel it necessary to put them down and slur them. Well I feel a right to put you down for thinking you know the word of God. How arrogant are you? And ignorant? The bible was written by Man, not God. What the Heck is wrong with you?

The more we accept immoral behaviors, the more this country goes down the tubes.

How would you know what God did or didn’t do, or would or wouldn’t approve? Please tell us. How do you know? What’s your source?
