Thousands of dollars in merchandise was destroyed in a huge fire at a warehouse distribution facility in northwest Alabama.
Several volunteer fire departments responded to the Sept. 28 blaze around 10:30 a.m. at Eagle Industries off Highway 22 in Spruce Pine.
Two large warehouse buildings were declared total losses. There were no injuries
Investigators have not determined how it started.
Eagle Industries is a regional distributor of car stereos.
Spruce Pine is located in Franklin County.
