Dawn, all laws are imposing the opinions and views of others on the general population. Majority rules most of the time. Courts have negated the majority rule for some time now, both with good and bad decisions, but in general the majority “opinion” does rule. If the law were to be changed to outlaw abortion in this country again and the law was upheld in the courts, you would have this imposed on you. That doesn’t mean you might not do something illegal to get what your want, but isn’t that true of any act deemed to be illegal. Just a thought. Try not to think of this as some personal slam and look at it in terms of what the laws are intended to do.
