West Virginia’s Workers’ Compensation Commission recently filed
injunctions against three state employers whose accounts with the Commission are reportedly in default.
Injunctions were filed in Kanawha County Circuit Court against the following:
• Five Star Transport Services LLC, a Randolph County ambulance business, owes back premiums, interest and penalties totaling $19,494.94;
• Bernice Gibson dba Gibson Trucking, a Mingo County coal hauling business, owes back premiums, interest and penalties totaling $34,267.32; and
• Memco Inc., a Kanawha County vacuum cleaner and carpet shampooer sales and service business, owes back premiums, interest and penalties totaling $10,853.47.
The injunctions call for the firms to cease business.
