April 15, 2004

Insurity Inc., a ChoicePoint company, announced that South Carolina-based Capital City Insurance Company Inc. has selected Insurity’s Commercial Intellisys’ property/casualty policy processing services and software to support its regional commercial P/C business.

Jim Skiff, Capital City’s vice president of operations, said Insurity offers the insurer the most efficient capabilities across all front-end to back-office functions. “We’ll gain great efficiencies and ROI from implementing Insurity’s systems,” Skiff said. “Insurity provides a single system for all our offices and users that is extremely deep and rich in business functionality, delivering a complete solution set at an affordable price. We were also impressed with its thorough and rapid implementation process.

“Additionally, Insurity met our demanding requirements to process all business more efficiently, including workers’ comp audits, anniversary ratings and out-of sequence endorsements. The system can readily be adapted to our niche market in forestry so we can focus on underwriting and pricing controls. We can also add enhanced functionality, including MVR integration, department-of-motor-vehicles reporting and VIN verification.”

“Capital City management recognized that Insurity’s financial strength, breadth of functionality and broad client base offered the foundation for a true business partnership,” added Tony Reisz, Insurity senior vice president. “Our unique implementation methodology provides all stakeholders with a comprehensive rapid installation plan, one that eliminates the guesswork from the process. We are very excited about helping Capital City aggressively expand through the deployment of our leading edge technology.”

Project implementation is being managed through Insurity’s proprietary Customer Requirements Book (CRB) process, which has been developed after many years of implementing new systems for customers. It defines the client’s business and technical requirements for the system being implemented by identifying and scheduling a needs-analysis based upon lines of business, policy writing, common and technical criteria.

Insurity’s services portfolio provides commercial Property & Casualty policy rating, issuance and statistical coding for all lines of business in all 50 states, and supports the billing, claims and reinsurance functions for those same lines.

Capital City Insurance Company Inc. (www.capitalcityinsurance.com) is a multi-line commercial property and casualty company operating in 18 southeastern states.
