A Headland, Alabama resident, Ralph Wilson Lingo, 41, was convicted Sept. 24 of Arson Second Degree and Criminal Conspiracy to Commit Arson Second Degree for his reported involvement in the burning of a mobile home in January of this year.
The home, belonging to Marcus Mulkey of Eufaula, burned in the early morning hours of Jan. 24. Foremost Insurance Company insured the home, with a mortgage being held by Lingo.
Lingo was given a split sentence of 15 years in prison and $10,000 restitution.
