Disaster Kleenup International, Inc., a network of quality, independent property damage restoration contractors, announced that one of its member companies, Bay Area Disaster Kleenup, teamed up with local fire fighters in Clearwater, Fla., to help raise money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA).
During the weekend of Aug. 23-24, Bay Area Disaster Kleenup sponsored and assisted in Clearwater’s annual MDA Volleyball Tournament. Close to 300 fire fighters on teams from fire stations throughout Florida participated in the tournament, raising $5,600 to support the MDA. This amount was part of a record nationwide contribution to the charity of $18.3MM from the International Association of Fire Fighters.
“We are thrilled that Bay Area Disaster Kleenup has gotten so involved in their community,” said Dale Sailer, president of DKI. “It is greatly important that we, as contractors, make sure to give back to the areas in which we live and work, and they have provided a shining example of how fun and rewarding it is to do so.”
Bay Area Disaster Kleenup, established in 1986, is a full-service restoration company capable of handling any size and type of property claim.
