Thieves have stolen nearly $55,000 worth of new computers from a storage area at the University of Texas in Austin.
UT spokeswoman Cindy Posey on Tuesday said nobody has been arrested. Posey declined further comment on the investigation into last week’s theft.
Campus police report dozens of Apple MacBook Pro devices were stolen.
Investigators believe the theft happened last Thursday or early Friday. Investigators say the computers worth about $1,000 each were in a secured first-floor storage area of UT’s Main Building.
