The Louisiana Small Business Development Center at Southeastern Louisiana University and the Livingston Economic Development Council will sponsor a work session designed to help local businesses prepare for disasters that may interrupt business.
The free seminar is set for 8:30 a.m.-noon on July 11 at the Livingston Literacy and Technology Center in Walker.
Sandy Summers, assistant director of the Southeastern SBDC, says presentations will include local response updates, gauging business readiness, creating a business continuity plan, selecting the right insurance, data security and crisis communications.
