Approximately 245 members of the Texas/Southeast Division of the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation (IICF) volunteered during the foundation’s Week of Giving to clean headstones and monuments and complete general maintenance projects at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.
The IICF joins together insurance companies to use their collective strengths to provide grants, volunteer service and leadership to the communities in which they do business.
The IICF Week of Giving provides a unique opportunity for the insurance industry to come together for a united week, giving of time, talent and resources to benefit local community nonprofit organizations.
Since 1998, IICF supporters have provided more than 155,000 volunteer hours, serving more than 150 nonprofits nationwide, including many in the Dallas/Forth Worth area.
